There are certain skills that have a threshold based on the build type, but for MISS MELTYCAKES its more about value management so the player can distribute the points elsewhere. Both usually stream daily. For those picking up this build, I would suggest taking a look at the Barrowholm vendor (so go friendly with them in Normal/Elite/Ultimate) and look at the Wendigo Claw. The best way to farm things like the 50 blue perdition set is to go to champion heavy areas somewhere like Pine Barrens is good when you're in that sweet spot level range and you'll have a pretty good chance of getting it. I havent played MELTYCAKES in awhile, but if I recall, those constellations are base constellations necessary for the points to get to the end-game constellations and the crit damage and OA modifiers provide more support for BiS and end-game than the boons from Manticore.
